In Loving Memory

Bear in Snow

In loving memory of Bear and Mimi. Mimi was my and Victoria’s  great-grandmother, Dad and Uncle Jeremy’s Grandma and also the mother of Aunt Brenda and Mita. She died this year, on March 5, 2015. Bear was Papa’s beloved chow mix. She was adopted when Mom and Dad were still in college, and died in 2011. I don’t remember her very well, and my only memory of her is her biting me after I touched her Kong.  As far as I remember (or was alive) Bear was old and cranky. Her ashes were scattered on one of her favorite trails to walk on. Mimi was buried in a mausoleum. Mimi wasn’t afraid to die, unlike me. She merely called it “going home”.
